Be very careful though, or you will be overrun with many, many babies in just a month or two depending upon how many female mollies you have. But most of them tend to seperate themselves from the rest of the others in the aquarium and may hide themselves in plants or other secretive areas. The exact genetics are more than we have room for here, but there are several genes controlling color in mollies, and the combination of these genes each offspring gets will determine whether it is all black, black speckled, gold, or gray (gray is the common wild type).
