why does my black male molly have white things on it?

why does my black molly have white things. it looks like mold. i’ve been treating him with anti-fungal stuff. what else can i do? is it contagious? what causes it? thnx
my fish is starting to get less. you are able to see the eyes and most of it’s body now.

    it could be tiny aquatic clansmen. Try waving a cheap beer near the aquarium and see if they swim towards it.
    Seriously, yeah it sounds like a fungus or "fin rot" I don’t know what you can do other than what you already are. Good luck, sorry im not more helpful

    One of my fish recently died from that. Saprolegnia is usually what causes it. It’s a fungal infection, so its not easily spread, but if the fish dies and is allowed to decay that increases the chance that your other fish may get it.

    Its gonna die, another fish in the same aquarium also died but athers fought the disease and aer still around

    well take out the fiter piece in the fiter and clean it and check the ph and sometimes i use fish salt in the tank and turn the heater up to about 80 to 84 degreas and that should help keep the fungs away and it does help keep eik away

    it is called ick. You have to get stuff for ick, and put some pennies into your tank. they help prevent ick.
