the only con is the money you paid for it, is money down the drain if it dies….
glosso and dwarf sword are a bit easier to deal with…
but you only live once…this stuff needs good quality light and proper substrate is a must, it willl not grow in gravel well at all.

Dwarf hairgrass may require higher lighting. And the WPG guidelines refer to generally fluorescent lighting.
Dwarf hairgrass I believe isn’t an easier plant to maintain, as it requires extra nutrients more light, etc.
How about trying Java Moss .Java moss is great for low maintenance and will grow lots with good conditions provided.
There are different methods of having a java moss carpet, one is tying it to slate or mesh, or sandwhiching it between two peices of mesh, etc.
Some people will just bury parts of it in the substrate, however i find that not a great idea as it is harder to trim and maintance.
