Question about fish feeding? Any thoughts?

9 June 2009 Comments

I have a 28 gallon marineland tank.
Currently I have
1 Plec (not mine being fish sat for a friend who is overseas)
3 Pepper Cory
1 Bronze Cory (was a rescue, has one eye)
1 Male Betta
I have been feeding the betta (small amount) freeze-dried bloodworms at night. The Catfish and the Pleco recieve 2 algea tablets and 3 sinking shrimp pellets (at night). I do occasionally sink a cucumber for the Catfish and Pleco and float peice of lettuce for the Betta (he doesn’t seam to eat it, just likes to push it around). I recently got in an argument about the bloodworms for the Betta, I’m being told I’m feeding them to much (he seams happy and healthy). Also my ex-roommate has been critizing the lettuce and cucumbers as well. I remove uneaten portion in the morning. Am I causing my fish harm? Also is there any treat that Bettas would enjoy, thanks.
