Currently i have 7 fish 1 mollie, 2 black skirt tetras, 2 dwarf frogs, 1 pleco, 1 cory cat, they are going to be moved into 30 gallons soon. And i’m planning to get 2 silver hatchet fish, 2 glofish, 1 dalmation molly, 2 dwarf frogs and 1 cory cat and if works out two neons are silver hatchet fish the large type?
don’t worry about my dwarf frogs food needs, i made a frog feeder in wich you take a tupper ware and cut a small hole with a carpet knife and you put in a slice of bloodworm then the frogs slip and eat, while being watched by some jelous fish!
The tetras are schooling fish. They should be in a group with at least 6 members of the same species. Glofish are danios, and they are also schooling. Corys do best in groups also. So are hatchet fish. Depending on the pleco, 30 gallons might be too small for him.
And personally, dwarf frogs have a hard enough time getting to food before other fish. Cory cats get to it almost instantly, and plecos can be mean towards other fish and creatures on the bottom.
Silver hatchets the large type? Dont know what you mean by that. They grow to 1.5 inches I think. They are larger than marbled hatchets.
Your stocking is fine, its just you really need to get those schooling fish in schools. And when you do that, youll probably reach or pass the limit.
The best I can say is go by the 1 inch per gallon rule. If you have a 6 inch fish, it needs 6 gallons of water. It sounds like you are going to be putting to much in that tank with your current plan.
