i had two dalmation mollies and two black mollies. One of each color died a while ago, but i’ve noticed that the dalmation molly i had left now has no more spots and is a somewhat smaller version of the completely black molly. Do they have the ability to change color due to the other fish in their environment? I’m just curious as to what happened.

I have 2 guppies, and 3 tetras. i would either like to get a black molly or a female betta. Which is more compatable with these fishes? Thanks!

I have 2 female black mollies and 2 male black mollies. Im not sure how to tell if the females are pregnant but one of them is getting fat but not really fat. and also, i don’t know how to tell when they are mating. is one sign if the male chasing the female? beacuase the males have been doing that alot. Also, there like smelling the the female… well thats what it looks like!! Thanks! and thanks for the advise!

ok.. my black molly had 8 babies. a batch of 2 and a batch of 6. ( thats equals i dont know how to keep the female and males in the same tank but for the female not to have any babies. also… if she has anymore babies wut do i do with them?
the aft is supposed to be after… just saying! lol

Just wondering if a long black molly can get a balloon molly pregnant and what would the mix be like? Anyone seen this before?

I just woke up this morning to see my black molly gave birth to ten new fish, seven of them are all black, two of them are orange-white with black tails, and one is gray. Is it normal for a fish to give birth to different color fish or was my molly screwing the mailman?

why does my black molly have white things. it looks like mold. i’ve been treating him with anti-fungal stuff. what else can i do? is it contagious? what causes it? thnx

Long story. Look at my last question. But the thing that really ticks me off if Lilo is a boy is that the lady at pet smart told me that they were BOTH girls. I don’t have room for another tank really. I can’t have them have 27 million babies together!!! Geez and I would have to re name Lilo!!! Geez. I am really furious right now.

I have a black molly which I thought was pregnant. It ballooned up. It’s been hiding for a few days underneath a castle I had and only came out for food. Well now she’s out. She’s much thinner. Her anus is white. But she is swimming very awkwardly. She swims almost upside down and at an angle.
Any ideas?
