my platy is pregnant i have 6 other fishes in there its a 10 gallon tank i know she will eat her kids i need to know where i can put her where she can live and have a her kids
her stomach is veryyy bigg and she has a gravid spot i also have a 2.5 gallon fish tank extra at home what water does she need to live and does she need air and a filter its just for a day
will the fry live in a 2.5 gallon …

I thought at first she was giving birth but it has been there for several days, it gets larger and smaller but it’s always there. It it flesh colored. She acts normal otherwise. I have seen her "poop" during this time so I don’t think she’s having bowel problems. I’ve moved her to a hospital tank for now. Any Ideas of what this is or how to treat it?

I have a blue platy that’s very pregnant. She looks like she’s about to pop and she has a big black spot right before her tail (I read somewhere that’s a tell-tale sign that she’s almost ready).
I took her out of the 20 gallon tank early this morning and put her in a small one gallon tank, until she has her babies.

I just got a new platy (a blue platy) and she’s about 1 inch long… she seems to have a gravid spot and I was just wondering if it is possible that she could even be pregnant? She’s not really fat or anything like that, but the spot seems to be really strong… is it possible for a platy her size to be pregnant?? about how big do they have to be before they can get pregnant??

I would like to put a platy to my 60 litre tank but don’t have space for more than two. shall I get two females or males? are they gonna be ok of is it neccessary to buy more of them?

I have a 65G tank, I would like to put a school of black skirt tetras,Congo Tetras, Cardinal Tetras, zebra danios, Red Dwarf Gourami’s, Cobalt Blue Gourami’s, Mollies and Platy’s. Can I put these guys together in my 65G well planted (all in back) and nice caves??
Also, I have 2 albino Cory Cats. I know they like schools, I was wondering if they would school with other cory’s?? or do they need a school of all Albino’s??

It is only affecting my platys and not my other fish. I put the jungle fungus tablet in, it turned the water blue, I also took the filter out. How long do I keep the filter out? Why does it only affect the platys? And it’s not ALL of the platys. One died, I bought two new ones, one is now sick and the other died suddenly. My one original platy that I have left isn’t affected.
