The 100 gallon tank he lives in has been up and running for more than 5 years. I’m experienced with keeping aquariums and know about water changes, chemistry, etc., and have maintained the tank properly. There are 4 angel fish, 5 rainbow fish, 9 assorted tetras, and a pleco in there with him.
About 3 weeks ago I noticed he spends less time hiding. Usually, I never see him, but lately he’s been hanging very still right in the middle of the tank.
Yesterday, he almost knocked the tank’s …

I was wondering if featherfin catfish, 2-3 Pictus catfish, 2 Bumble bee catfish, 3 silver dollars, 4serpah tetras, 3 skirt tetras and 5 columbian tetras are compatiable in a 55 gallon tank. It has a 65 gallon filter on it. And a bunch of living plants but Can I put these fish in now that it is through cycling?

I currently have 1 discus, 3 Angelfish, a 9" Synodontis catfish, 1 Betta, and 1 Columbian tetra in a 90 gallon aquarium. I would like to add 5 more discus, some more tetras, clown loaches, some corydoras, and some hatchetfish. The tank will soon be heavily planted with a pH of 6.9. Can they go together?
so if I do not add clown loaches and add some rams would i still be overcrowding?

I have read that Betas will do all right in a tank with other peaceful fish as long as there are no other male betas in there. Right now I have a 55 gallon tank with 3 platys, 3 columbian tetras, 1 swordtail, 1 angelfish, 2 whiteclouds, and 2 upsidedown cats. Would a Beta cause problems in this tank or with any of these fish?

I’ve narrowed down my choices of tetras. I want tetras that would look good with my sunset platies.
Here are the options: columbian tetra, flame tetra, cardinal tetra, neon tetra, black neon tetra, ember tetra, rummy-nose tetra, bentosi white fin tetra, or longfin serpae tetra.
Again, I want it to look cool with sunset platies. I have a 20 gal. tank with 2 platies.

Molly not as active as it used to be…?

Hi,
I have a 70l planted tank. It had 2 black mollies in it and 2 serpae tetras. I recently added 2 small columbian sharks and an apple snail. Since then, the mollies are just sitting near the surface in two corners of the tank. Otherwise, they hide behind plants or the toys. Before I added the sharks, the mollies used to play a lot.
Please help!!!
P.S. : I noticed that the mollies are eating well (just like they used to before I added sharks).
I searched on net and found that Columbain …

Would this work in my tank?

I have a 90 gallon octagon tall aquarium that houses 6 serpae tetras, 6 red/blue columbian tetras, and 6 black skirt tetras.I was thinking about adding 6 angel fish to the tank ( I know they do well in tall tanks and schools of 6). Would this work?
