I have had 4 black harlequin rasbora in a community tank for about 1 yr now, other fish are 2 types of tetras & guppies. This week I noticed 1 of the 4 rosboras has lost it’s black colour in it’s back; What would cause this can’t find anything on web.
Everyone seems healthy other wise, I did have a slight temperature change recently but have stabilized it since then.

I just recently purchased a few Harlequin Rasboras and I have noticed that they will nip at each other when one gets too close. I have read all about them being a schooling fish so I thought it was kinda of strange to see the aggression. Can anyone explain?
I bought 5 the other day but one little guy died already…looked weak and stayed to himself.

the 2 in my tank are doing good except the bigger fish are eating all the food before the 2 can get to it.
they only eat the food that sinks.
would it be alright to put both of them in my guppy only tank?

there are 15 baby guppies in a breeder tank in the 10 gallon and 19 medium sized guppies in the rest, but those will be sold tomorrow.

I dont know if this makes sense but the girl at the store said that for a tall tank its nice to get fish that stay on top, in the middle and the bottom. I would rather get fish that get along. and don’t need very long swimming space Would a male beta go with harlequin rasboras and tetras? should I put them all in? Like 5 Tetras 4 Harlequin’s and 1 male beta ?

6 Neon Tetras , 3 Harlequin Rasboras, and 1 Dwarf Gourami. If not what can I put in with my 6 neon tetras. I prefer small fish, and maybe some algae eaters. and maybe easy - medium maintance.
